Designer and Creator of AOIS

Helping organizations develop deeper understanding through Organizational Intelligence and purposeful business evolution.

Harold Sanchies is the founder of AAG and the designer and creator of AOIS, the Adaptive Organizational Intelligence System. His career spans enterprise transformation, technology modernization, organizational change, and strategic planning across financial services, healthcare, and government organizations.

He has served in roles including Technology Project Manager, Agile Coach, Scrum Master, Business Analyst, and Product Owner — giving him firsthand experience with the full spectrum of organizational dynamics, from strategy to execution.

Harold holds an M.S. in Computer Information Systems from Boston University, an MBA from the University of Arkansas, and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.

Over years of transformation work, Harold repeatedly observed the same pattern: organizations possessed capable people, strong strategies, and significant investment — yet often struggled to translate those strengths into sustainable progress.

The challenge was rarely effort. The challenge was understanding.

"Why do organizations have so much information about outcomes, yet so little visibility into the organizational dimensions influencing them?"

That question became the foundation of AOIS.

The Origin

Why AOIS Exists

AOIS did not begin as software. It began as an observation.

Across industries and transformation efforts, organizations often restarted initiatives, repeated patterns, and struggled to understand why progress stalled despite strong leadership and substantial investment.

The problem was not necessarily strategy. It was not necessarily talent. It was not necessarily technology.

Often, the missing capability was organizational understanding.

AOIS was created to help organizations make visible the dimensions, relationships, and conditions that conventional measurement cannot easily see.

Not to prescribe actions. Not to replace leadership. But to expand understanding.

Because organizations that understand themselves more honestly are better positioned to evolve purposefully.

“

Most organizations do not need to start over. They need a better understanding of what is limiting progress — and the ability to build upon what already works.

Stop starting over.

Start moving forward.

Beyond AOIS

The Person Behind the Platform

Beyond his consulting and technology work, Harold is an entrepreneur who owns and operates multiple businesses.

He is also an inventor, holding one patent with another currently pending.

He lives in Baltimore with his wife, Dominique, and their three poodles — Hank, Ben, and Kirby.

Founding Perspective

Rooted in Observation,
Not Ideology.

AOIS emerged through years of observing recurring organizational patterns across industries and organizational environments.

Across technology modernization initiatives, transformation programs, operational improvement efforts, and strategic realignment projects, consistent patterns appeared — organizations repeatedly struggling not because of effort or talent, but because critical organizational conditions remained invisible to decision-makers.

This recognition — that a fundamental layer of organizational understanding was missing — led to the development of Organizational Intelligence as a distinct category of capability. AOIS is the product of applied observation across real organizational environments, not theoretical frameworks developed in isolation.

The work continues — advancing the understanding of organizational conditions, refining the intelligence platform, and helping organizations develop the capability to see what has previously remained hidden.

What Drives Us

The Convictions That
Guide Our Work.

Organizational Understanding

We believe that better understanding leads to better decisions. Organizations deserve honest, unfiltered intelligence about the conditions that influence their performance, alignment, and evolution — not frameworks designed to validate pre-existing beliefs.

Evidence-Based Insight

Organizational decisions should be grounded in evidence, not assumption. AOIS provides the structured intelligence that enables leaders to understand before they act, reducing the risk of addressing symptoms while underlying conditions remain unchanged.

Purposeful Evolution

Organizations do not need to be rebuilt to improve. They need to understand the conditions shaping their current state and evolve intentionally from there. Sustainable progress comes from continuous understanding, not repeated reinvention.

The Future

Building a New Organizational
Capability.

We believe Organizational Intelligence will become a recognized organizational capability — sitting alongside analytics, strategy, and performance management as essential infrastructure for informed leadership.

Just as organizations today would not consider operating without financial intelligence or market intelligence, we believe they will increasingly recognize the need for organizational intelligence — the structured understanding of the conditions that influence performance, alignment, execution, and evolution.

AAG exists to advance this capability — through AOIS, through partnership, and through a sustained commitment to helping organizations see what has previously remained hidden.
